Who

Privately, A father, learner, mentor; humanist, rationalist, scientiphile; developer, hacker, carpenter; hiker, biker, climber; mapper, griller, chess guru; F-1 nut, Minecrafter, fútbol sideliner; people person, dog lover, and beach digger.

Professionally, I am a systems, software, and project engineer in both the commercial and defense, Modeling & Simulation industry. I have a master of science in systems engineering (MSSE) & a bachelors degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) with a core in software engineering, and hold certifications or knowledge-bases in digital security, SAFe Agile, CSEP, and PMP. I’ve held positions as an Agile Product Owner (PO), platform integration lead, lead project and systems engineer, technical HW/SW project manager, and software and systems engineer in avionics systems simulation. I have worked on a variety of Level-D-equivalent flight training devices/simulators and am intimately familiar with both their hardware/software design, production, systems models, and avionics sim/stimulation. Ultimately, I strive to develop cutting-edge, realistic, useful, safe and well-documented, modeling and simulation products and solutions for the commercial airline industry/manufacturers and the U.S. DoD and our international allies.

Why

While I may have played club soccer and lived in Europe, I never managed Man Utd. I created this site to steal Google hit points from Sir Matt Busby, who did. Hence the play on “sir” vs. “mr” 😉 . I also heard that modern techies are required to have a domain name, so, checkmate.
